Night porter
The most beautiful hotels in the Netherlands are open 24/7. Even at night, these hotels need to be guarded and cleaned, and we cannot do this alone. That is why we are looking for colleagues to strengthen our night team. It is often quiet at night, but do not expect to sit still all night.
What do you do as a night porter?
- As a night porter, you work form 23:00 to 07:00
- You are responsible for the safety of the guests
- You monitor who enters and leaves the hotel
- You ensure the hotel is cleaned properly
You will receive a temporary employment contract with the intention of converting this into a fixed term contract upon satisfactory perfomance.
Job requirements:
- You have affinity with the luxery segment
- You have a presentable appearance
- Experience is a plus
- Applying for a Certificate of Conduct is not a problem for you, this may be a requirement
- You are proficient in both spoken and written English

Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook and present dishes according to the restaurant’s quality standards
- Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with hygiene standards, food saftey regulations and manage inventory
Job requirements:
- Vocational or higher education in culinary arts, hospitality, or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-5 years’ professional kitchen experience, preferably as a line cook or junior sous chef
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Team player
- Flexible regarding working hours (evenings, weekends and holidays)
- Good command of the English Language
- You’ve got a EU citizenship (mandatory to work in the Netherlands)
